What is the highest production yield you have achieved in CiV so far, and how have you accomplished such a grand hammer capital? My record sits at about 125 hammers currently but I've heard of people who have created 200+ Production cities.

If in a Golden Age, please tell. (Because it can get pretty epic with +1 hammer per production tile)

does it count if i have mods that changes the tile improvement output? like thal's... mines is +2 and great engineer is +4... with ramses trait, tradition, marble, not to mention production boosting buildings... it got silly when i was building wonders...

but i'm gonna seriously try to get a ridiculous production super city now... domination by mass production!

I've had a couple hit 180+ hammers after modifiers. If I have any saved games with them I'll post a SS later.

I do not have the exact numbers, but imagine Hiawatha, a city in the middle of a huge forest (all city tiles are forested and lumbermilled, cept for 3 farms), all the production boosters (longhouse, ironworks, railroad, order, etc) and a population of 19, all working tiles. Damn hard to top that :)

Let me try;

Ramses working on a wonder, with his % bonus to hammers, plus marble, plus all the relevant SPs for wonder building and specialist hammers, plus factory and all those, all forested hills with lumbermills, and all tiles on a river for the hydro plant +1 production per tile. Maritime CS feeding the city.

I had something similar going on in my last game, but no Ramses and not too many forested/hill tiles. Mad hammers.

My current record is 254 Hammers in my SS production City. No screenie right now. Ill make one later and post it. Had there been an adjacent Desert tile and a Iron deposit it would have been even more.

Fun with Worldbuilder

I think this is fairly close to the theoretical max. Better would be 1 marble tile + policy for +58% modifier (buildings are only +45% w/ Workshop and Order).

+8 hammers per tile! Go Russia!

Of course you can keep adding hammers with more citizens. My choice of 45 population was just an arbitrary pick.

EDIT: Oops forgot to put a resource under the city. Missed out on 2 base hammers there.

Just Imagine seeing that city in game.... assuming they somehow found food to grow it. It would be some crazy machine factory that could create entire army's within 4 turns. Rock on man, even if that was world builder it is sweet.

i had a city with 358 production(little hammers) before, the city was in the dessert and EVERY SINGLE tile next to it was a hill, so i built mines everywhere, and i built the Petra also, improving dessert tiles output, i also built a solar plant, uranium plant, factory, workshop, etc..also it was next to a river and i built those hydro plant.

Early game counts more for me, so i was pretty impressed with 4 iron mines and 3 pastures in my game i just played with a friend(which obviously had a loading screen every 5 turns, thanks a lot for this :hammer2: ), so that was pretty nice after i had my stable and my forge online.

I don't think the wonder production factor should be included in this measure, nor should any boosts that are for specific buildings/units. factories/religion beliefs boost production in general so could be included.

My top city was Venice. I just routed hammers on all my boats to it. Unfortunately I deleted the save so don't remember what it reached, but definitely over 200. I distinctly remember 1-turning infantry and bombers.

This was my best city ever. There was no caravans back then, 300+ would have been easily possilble.
