Requirements for Diplomatic Victory?

I've just finished playing a game on the prince level. I was going for a diplomatic victory, but once i completed The United Nations i couldn't implement voting for Diplomatic Victory (Evering else though).

Do anyone have an explanation for this?

And yes, Diplomatic Victory was enabled

Well, it should have been the Strategy&Tips Forum..

However, to your question: do you YOURSELF have less than 60% of the votes (it doesn't come up, if you could vote yourself to win unilaterally) and do you have at least 2 rivals left?

That's it! Yes i did have more than 60%. Didn't know there was made a such change. I'll have to check up on changelogs more often i guess!
