Gingrich wants to Subpoena and Arrest Judges that don't follow his Agenda.

The Tipper Gore crowd used the war metaphor when they were going against violent lyrics in the 1980's.
So that makes:

The war on cancer
The war on Christmas
The war on childhood obesity
The war on drugs
The war on illiteracy
The war on poverty
The war on terror
and
The war on violent lyrics

Eight consecutive un-winnable wars on concepts or things.

The thing is, Newt is a sideshow in the War on Liberalism. It was going on long before Newt held high office. And he was only briefly a major player in the war. The work to move the entire political spectrum of the US has been an ongoing, and extremely successful, process since at least the early 70s.
Well, I was inferring from "war on liberalism" something of greater ideological substance stance simply moving to the right of the post-war consensus. (There's more than a few liberalisms which call for just that!) I guess I'm forgetting that words are basically play-dough in the hands of the American ideologue. :undecide:

The war on Christmas is winnable.

Hey! The war on ilitterisy can be won!

Ann Coulter recently denounced Newt on the Bill O'Reilly show due to this whacky idea of his. How far off the reservation do you have to go to have Ann Coulter call you out?

That should be a red flag right there.
