1. An expensive coaster.
2. Small frisbee.
3. Put it in the microwave and watch the sparks fly!
4. Disco ball!
5. Put a string through a number of them and hang it up as party decoration.

Add more. :D

# 3 is a really bad use for a CD. Considering that you can break your microwave doing things like that. Do you really want to start a "500 uses for failed Microwaves" list?

6. Hang a few up on trees in your garden to scare birds away.

It was a joke. :p

7. Use as a mirror.

I use mine as wheels on cars. Lightweight.

They're brilliant.....in the landfill.

I suppose they make an ok wind mobile if you paint them.

10. use them to provide a high-tech, stable platform for resting cups of coffee / cans of beer, while collecting excess fluids before they touch other surfaces.

#11: Self-defense! Blind your opponent using reflected sunlight, then incapacitate them with a well-placed frisbee-style blow to the head.

Broken shards of CD can be real sharp!!! I had one explode in my DVD drive once. Not good. And it was Starcraft Broodwar too!

14. Printing words on them and putting them in your car windscreen like dangley dice. I believe people actually sell these!

15. cut little notches in them and use them as ninja throwing stars.
