Best Starts?

I think I just got the best start of my life, playing with the "tectonics" mapscript from the workshop for the first time. I have a feeling this game is going to turn out well. Now for you to point out that I should have settled in a different tile.



Anyway, anyone else wanna share their best starts? In contrast to the "worst starts" thread thats also floating around.

SALT SALT SALT! Whenever I get that I'll play it through. Unimproved salt is stone with gold. Mined salt is cow food with mine production and oasis gold!!!

But yeah in general a hill start with observatory mountain, cow food, and coastal on one tile is sweet stuff

I'm torn between my amazing mountainside Dutch desert that was all floodplains, hills, and oases, and my Songhai grasslands salt start. Grassland salt is amazing, it's a farm and a mine and a trading post.
