I'mma try and work on a WatM Civ for me with DMS... and it's not the one in my sig. It does, however, have an interesting and difficult-to-code UA. I thought it was fitting. =]
UA: Hype Train
Workers build roads and railroads 33% faster, and cities connected to the capital gain happiness based upon how far away they are. Units and cities gain extra combat strength in friendly territory for every road and railroad within 2 tiles.
UA: The First Nation
Gain a lump sum of culture and tourism with all known civs when founding non-capital cities if there are no other cities within 10 tiles (more? less?). +2 tourism in your capital for every foreign city founded within 5 tiles of one of your cities.
UA: [TXT_KEY_OBSERVER]
Gain tourism with every known civ and gain influence with every known city-state whenever you complete a world wonder or a produce a great work. Undetectable units gain +4 sight range.
I think we also need to update the inside jokes; there have, of course, arisen quite a few more since the original release. A few might include "artists have way too much power" or references to BR/Battle for the Nile. Plus the Great Swiss War of Switzerland. Should also add in some jabs at the Socialist Soviet Republic of More Civs for putting the Greek Split on Valve Time. Imperial knights. Stuff like that.
I privately refer to them as (to steal from AP Euro event names) the Scramble for the Forgotten and the Final Partition of GE, but yes, I had momentarily forgotten about them :/
Does anyone seriously think I'd be important enough to feature in WatM if I didn't do something off my own bat? Didn't think so. At least this way I've contributed something to this mod other than squabbles with Natan and a friggin' emoticon.
