Anyone interested in doing one of these? They were popular last year on the Civ V strategy forum and are currently going through round 2 now (although with some growing pains). This is my favorite way to get better at this game, which is seeing how many different people approach the same game and explain/record how they worked their magic against the AI.
Maybe its too early, I am not sure if BERT is going to turn into BERTIE or not next year or two years from now, but should we even bother waiting? Either way, I think it'd be cool since there isn't a BERT Game of the Month or even BE game of the month for us to do.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this idea?
For reference, here is what was done in Civ V:

And this is how it ended:

The current iteration, the CDG, also puts achievements in, which are a pretty cool idea but are also the cause of most of the drama. The real point is for n00bs like me who don't have time to figure out this game to learn from the best one Civ at a time. It really helps, strategy guides are nice but seeing the strategies in action and seeing where I went wrong and why versus how another player dominated the map. Plus there is the glory aspect, we'd need a nice spreadsheet to track the victories or something in a google doc like the DCL has. I've searched the forums high and low and found nothing suggesting this has been done yet, so what does everyone think?
