A new type of victory:
How about "Suicide Victory."
What is it? Simply put: You build a great wonder, and once it is built, you would then have the option to blow up the world, or say no and blow it up later in the game, when you have other plans, such as conquering an enemy. When you finish conquering your enemy, then at any time, you would return to the "doomsday screen" and then push the button, or say cancel, if you forget to do something. First one to push the button wins. Why? I figured that there's got to be at least some humor in a civ game. And go back to the high council of civ2--the civ3 guys are too cheesy.

Would be an interesting feature if you were losing the game... "If I can't take over the world, no one can! Muahahahahaha!"

Hey, why not? You could maybe have a "Spoof Mod" as part of civ4, with humorous and crazy stuff like this. |

Seriously though, there should end-the-world options for after you stop keeping score. I already put down a plethora of them elsewhere so I will go find them now.

How about this, after sending the ship to alpha centera or whatever it is you can do the doomsday as the way to win, so it replaces space race victory
