can I set map settings with a random map?
for my ancient mod I want a random map each time, but I do not want polar caps or east-west scrolling. I want it to be like you are playing in a continent in the middle of the world.
Can I do that? |

Yes (and I'm assuming you're using C3C or PTW here). Click Map in the Editor, and uncheck Polar Caps and X wrapping. That should do it.
You'll still get desert in the middle and tundra at top & bottom, though...

Control that Scenario/Custom Map isn't checked.
