FA: Alliance against Russia.

As you all know we have recently been attacked by Russia, now you might here people on the street referring to it as “The Russia confrontation” or “The The Russian Crisis” but make no mistake We are at WAR.

Although the actual fighting of the war is up to the military and general Provolution. The diplomatic entangling of Russia is my job.

I propose we form a Coalition of the Willing to fight out mutual enemy Russia. All the nations of the world will be involved in this massive Mutual Protection Pact. The cost of the treaty would be the following sanitation, although china is willing to give us Espionage and Free artistry, for the MPP and sanitation. Although after we sign a few the price will go up. But can you put a price on our honour?

Heres the options

OPTION A: Coalition of the willing (sigh with all)
OPTION B: Atarashika. Plus France and Babylon (no Zulu, Rome or Iroquois)
OPTION C: Just Atarashika.
OPTION D: Just America and Aztecs. (The bare Minimum)
None. We don’t need allies.

ABSTAIN: I refuse to answer. Until I see my attorney.

The Family is in favour of option A. this will bring the world together, and leave no one for Russia to Ally with. There are risks but everything in civ has risks, the biggest risk is if we do nothing and let the Russians sign Alliances against.

So vote away.

Also I want to sign a Trade Embargo with all nations that we sign a MPP with. It will be free. And no one can trade while at war anyway. A embargo will help us gain favour with the world, and if any nation drops out of the war, then they can’t trade. After 20 turns we will cancel the MPP and the Embargos. I don’t think I need to poll this because after the MPP is we will be able to cancel the embargo anyway. If you do think I should poll send me a PM and I will reconsider.

I agree with Provolution. You need an option for Atarashika - China + France and Babylon.

Well here is the dilemma. If we go with "A" then Russia has nobody to turn to but China could go power hungery and took over much of Russia before we even get there. And If we go to "B" then China won't take over Russia but could turn against us, pitting us against two nations.

I hope that this will be interpreted as some sort of spectrum vote. The potential interpretation should be stated in the first post.

We used to take pollsters to task automatically when the first post did not state the terms and conditions of the poll.

Edit: Don't like any of the options, but don't like to abstain. I'd like to choose everyone but China, to set up a diplo win. This war comes a little too early, ideally we should still have everyone as allies against our opponent in the UN election.

My persoanl choice would be to MPP with just Aztecs, Americans, and French, and instil Embargos with Aztecs, Babylonians, Iroquois, Zulu, and Rome. (America and France have trades active and will not Embargo.)

That having been said, I chose B because if we have an MPP active with a Russian Trade Partner, and Russia invades our territory, they declare war and suspend all trades! Automatic Embargo.
I would also like for all nations that can to Embargo Russia whether or not we sign MPPs with them.

Plus, as has been stated above, this poll is too vague. Better options are being discussed. And I'm not an MPP player or in favor of the Diplo Victory (although I will support your attempt at it if you quit causing wars and play peacefully).

sorry about the no none guys, it was a mistake not a ploy. and the way i will interprut is if two of the higher options are bigger than a lower, one i will chose the lower of the higher. E.G. Option c gets 30%, while Option a and b get 20% each, i will go option B.

just post none here i will count them, sorry about that. but not enough time to repoll.
