No it hasn't been useful. I liked caravans from civ2.... wish they were in civ 3... would have made the giant canal useful!

I liked taking my caravans to the city with the colossus. Made the computer player getting the colossus a good thing instead of a bad one!

Yes I second the screenshot. I'm too lazy to see it myself.

WOW!
BTW, why don't you save it as a jpg file and attach it? Size would be much smaller (around 150k). Windoze BMP files are huge, and zip-ing them is not the best option to compress an image.

Its a zipped image...

Something like that happened in the first MSDG to allow galleys in the east to move around the western coast although that was only two cities I think...

whoa. I've seen big canals, but that, is just sweet. Plus it must be much easier moving around the coast.

Beautiful! That is the nicest canal I've ever seen! Any chance for a minimap to see just how useful it is?

Picture for those lazy types (shrunken slightly so that it doesn't take up as much file space):

Yea of course it was randomly generated. Makes sense for you to verify, but it would pretty lame if I just drew that map and said, hey look at this canal!
