I'm reason for at least 24 hours of any delay. I have dialup access, and have to share the phone line with the rest of the family. This means that I have limited time each evening to do my stuff online. I down load the turns that come in before I log off at night, then play them the next day and send them that night...

I apologize for all of my absences of late; I'll be around more often once school ends. Right now, I'm away from tomorrow 'til Thursday.

For a game called Rise of Rome it appears Rome is taking a nap

Not compared to Scipion. I'm Rome in that one and Carthage is kicking my ass all over the Northern Half of the Italian peninsula--and they started in the southern half!

Considering the state of Carthage I've taken over, I'm not sure about kicking anything for a while yet..

Nothing doing in Carthage, just trying to keep people happy, but they don't understand that all-entertainers means no farmers

Which difficulty level is this anyway? My people are so unhappy it's all a bit much, not sure how much is from the whipping of previous rulers..

GPS. Sink 1 Carthaginian galley.
@ironduck: Regent (2 citizens born content). I am guessing it's almost all whipping from previous rulers. I think I landed a reasonably large invasion force, but there were so many numidians in Carthago that I failed, and I'd think you'd only get that from whipping (of course, without it, who knows what could have happened to Carthage...)

As far as what is going on in Rome, if I told you, I would have to kill you .

Please don't sink my galleys, I'm sure that will upset my citizens even further

I have never seen a population so whipped before, I think they've turned into some depression spiral, hopefully when they're all dead some new-non depressed citizens will rise..
