I voted for less than once a week. I don't like using PMs, I feel no reason to not say things publicly. I usually only use them for PBEM discussions, but I normally use e-mail for that anyway. Otherwise, only if someone PMs me and I feel they've asked a question or otherwise I can't justify not responding. I hope I haven't offended anyone who's PMed me that I haven't responded to.

i voted once per week.
but its a LOT of pms when i do send them. right now its on the range of about 12 pms each time. but its only once every week or two even. i get about half as many pms as i send out. (i get orders for a game, and send back confirmations/comments on orders and then new info for next turn's orders).

Oh, and I forgot to say that I collect PMs. I try to get one from each heavy spammer here.

2 or 3 a week, for SGs, PBEMs, and occasionally random stuff. But I like receiving PMs.

1-6 per week.
Mostly discussing things for my thread, and the odd question from some other poster. |

Lately I have been using it a lot more. Voted the 1 - 6 times per week option. Only 45 PMs for the twenty-two months I've been here though. Funny thing is that I only had twenty or so at the new year.

I use email sometimes.

This is all pretty interesting. My use of pm comes in waves, but has been increasing over time. Usually it's spillover from a thread that has raised an off topic or personal question.

Probobly around 4 or 5 a day, but in the last week it's been rapidly increasing. With EAT POOP YOU CAT taking some and the Coalition of the willing taking more, and of course constantly responding to screwballs that PM me for stange reasons and me PMing screwballs for strange reasons.

I am using my PM box much more regularly because of my participation in PBEM's and DG's including the ISDG, so I mainly use it for offical business. Some times it is spam.

A handful per week, I'd say.

I get 2 pm's a week. I guess I'm just popular.
You're supposed to use PM's if you want o talk between two people. A lot of times I see threads in which two people go back and forth. That's when you are supposed to take it to PM's. |
