You know, Sirrian, there are some subjects which are just TOO serious to joke about-and the release date of Civ4 is ONE of them !

Oh my. I certainly didn't expect such a title to be an april fool's prank :-P.

Not that I'm being sarcastic or anything *bright smile*

Saw it from a mile away

I'm always very conscious of April 1st -- way too many bad (but funny) stories.

I knew that someone would do something like this on April 1st.
But like Aussie said, it wasn't very nice...

Not that we expected it to be released in June

Grr, speaking of mean April Fools Jokes, look at this link:
http://forums.gamespot.com/gamespot/...0163259&page=0

I mean, the guy didn't even say anything, but when I replied (as Yumbo), I was trying to be as calm as possible.

That was just mean… probably the meanest joke ever!!!

If it wasn't too good to be true, I'd probably go for it.

At first I thought Sirian had been fooled by some of the previous rumours that turned out to be wrong. Then I realised I was fooled...

Nah..didn't work for me. I came in with disbelief just to laugh at those who were fooled.

EDIT: but the link above did give me something new: there will be only 19 civs? So they are playing the trick again by holding back the rest just so they could release an expansion with "more fun, more control, more civs"?
