Unit Upgrade
If I have horseman, and I want to upgrade them to cavalry. I have horse, saltpeter, but not iron, and I cannot perform the upgrade. Is it because that knight is the intermediate unit, which requires iron?

Units need to have movement points, a barracks, the cash and the resources. If you try to mass upgrade and do not have enough for all, I am not sure what happens. Look for units with movement left and try it.

That is what I figured, but was not sure. I seldom do mass upgrade that way as I do not want my elites upgraded just yet.

It's 120 gold from horsemen to knight, that may be the problem.
Oops, didn't see you typed caverly, well, that actually might be more, like 240 to upgrade or more, and you might need the iron, not sure though. Last edited by provoko; Apr 07, 2005 at 09:53 PM. |
