Load Problems
Hi All
I just bought Civ 3 Complete and am having some loading issues. I am running a p2 500 268ram lots of space windows 98se I had Civ 3 1.29 on Unloaded that Loaded Civ 3 Complete Started fine did first disk then everything went pearshaped Read through tech help and have disabled all background programs Reload and now the second disk crashs and saays there is a problem reading it. The disk is totally clean and cd rom has never had problems before Says that i should load disk serial # oe82-5855 Does anyone have any ideas Cheers Zonkvert |

Hi!
Did you re-start your PC when you took off the normal Civ 3? it could still have something clashing?? Check program files and see if the old file is there that once had the the first civ in. Test the CD in another computer drive if you can.. if you can't take off CIV Complete, restart your PC and try again. If it still don't work, the best option could be to install windows XP, looks after games more, but uses more memory. Let me know what happens  i still have some ideas
