I usually get ICBM's so late in the game that I don't want to use them, just to be using them. I would however, like to get that viceral feeling of joy from pounding the snot out of the AI.

Oh, It's a good feeling, just nuke them. Do it now. Hehe.

There should be an option to launch all your nukes at the same time! Hehe. Say you have 15 nukes and your opponent has only 15 cities, just select all the sites you want nuked, click ok, and watch all 15 hit every single city of your opponent. Oh, that would be glorious.

I only use them for fun ie. when the game is going to end the next go. I've never needed to use them as part of a war campaign, just entertainment. So I'd be a

It counts as POWER, which is a unofficial version of score. But you haven't more "score" with them. Score is territory+hapiness+future techs

Oh, but there's nothing quite so satsifying as hearing that ominous wind blowing through the ruins of your enemy's city, is there? Even still, I don't usually use them unless someone else has (which they never do), or my empire is in very real danger of collapsing if I don't (and even then, I like to have SDI)

Stockpile nukes, and if I get bored, save nuke the world for 15 turns or so, then restart once the entire world is a radioactive wasteland which goes through 5000 Global warming events per turn

I went through a phase where I'd nuke every enemy capital the turn before launching my spaceship.
