The French were growing. Yes their population might have been small but their lands were growing with each day. The King found that naval expansion into more areas might find new food sources and new poulations that might be added to the empire. And so the King decided to create a magnifisant navy. Many galleys were being built when and also... 2 galleons from old designs were also added.

Food was also a problem. So the king decided that if their buildings a navy they might as well also use this new magnifisant navy for larger scale fishing, maybe even larger fish. Also seeds were sent to colonies alla cross French expansion plans to find more farm lands. Into the mountains south and eastward the french sent several expedition to look for precious metals, and maybe more kidns of food! Food was becomign a serius problem... The King will do all for this food...


Westward the Tlacolotl Empire have asked for tribute. The french had nothing to give. Yes the french were weak, but they got nothing to send. the Tlacolotl Empire became nicer quickly but until tribute will be sent to them the french could not try to buy food from thos people. Maybe one of the new galleons could be given to them as a gift... Who knows, maybe it will impress their empress and show the king of France in better light?...

We Agree with you on the border being the Iberian River. We note that it guarantees access to Some Mountains for you. In addition to the River. We however would like to note that we wish to control the delta, so the small little islets at the coast will be ours.

New Athens agreed, and New Spain, after a small amount of deliberation, also agreed.

Specific details of New Spain deal: Islets controlled: North Island: New Spain, South Island: New Portugal, Middle Island: A Free city Populated by Iberians, managed by themselves, they will have strong ties to our and the Spainish People. Due to the larger size of the south Island, Spain has access to the ports on that island


Now that his borders were recognised, it was time to expand and explore.

Reynals drew up plans for an "Alexandria" of the Iberian River. Or in other words, expressed the desire to his advisors of an Idea, which they promptly made a reality. But that is for a later date, when the Borders are actually met.

Reynald Wanted his borders to be met as quickly as possible, but then he also wanted access to the mountains near by....He pondered and saw that this was not really a problem. The trees made expansion slow, and it would probably be wuicker going round them and populating the more fertile shore and river areas before making a short strike south accross grasslands.

OOC: So general direction of expansion; along coasts until reaching agreed borders, then moving round inland.

This will prob take a few turns.

His project for the Unemployed people was to make them do usefull things. For a start some lumber could go into making a bridge accross the river to the south. And some more ships could be built too. The Portugese were not exploiting the bounty of the sea, it needed to be done.

And a party of 7 men, led by Aragorn would go visit the queen, and inform her that we have nothing to give, apart from logs, and some cloths. And if you give us time, we will make you something bueatifull.

OOC: Then ask the ministers or whatever (privatly), what the queen would REALLY like.

Also 200 men were to be given the task of searching the area for habitats of new creatures, identify dangerous ones and try to capture as many as possible.

Total Costs: -1000 lumber (Ships, bridge), 50 gold. (cheaper due to most if not all of the goods needed to create the ships/bridge is being provided by me, heck i could put this turns textiles into making sails, but i think the gold will pay for that)
