![]() That world map looks awfully boxy(sp?) to me. Although everything else looks better than the IGN screenshots. |

Aarrgh... the more you zoom in, the more the distortion between units and environment violates my eyes! (pg. 6 with the Cherokee University)

Ah, that does look nicer!
![]() Funny colour for rivers though, where I come from they are more a green/grey/brown colour ![]() When the water is clean, the colour is just a darker (less dusty) version of the terrain around it. I have never seen a true blue river.

well u def. see judaism, islam, and buddhism spread throughout the different civ's
so far we've seen a world full of small islands, and now one of a pangea. the mountains need some fixing - rite now they're very individual tiled. seems like all resources may show from the beginning (does that look like uranium by hastings?) anyone have any thoughts on the small village huts, terraced/irrigated hills, and stable on the map? city improvements? |

very nice! Reminds me a bit of CtP too, with that bottom bar where you get all your commands and info.. Graphics look way nicer than before too!
I don't see brown rivers, only blue. And brown ROADS.

I just love the rivers and the rich colours.
Really have to speak out on the units graphics though. Really a sore in the eye. Firaxis should re-scale them. At least whenever we zoom in near, the units should be of a smaller size to suit the surrounding graphics. |

This is a definitely a step-up from the last few batches of screenshots. And I'm glad they're still tweaking. It looks like culture borders are still going to be near-impossible to see in wooded terrain.
![]() But all in all, I'm very happy with what cIV is turning into. |

I was really disappointed to IGN's screenshots but those screenshots look much better.
New borders look much better than the old borders.
