Unreal 2...

I have a dream....
I had a dream...
My friend was wandering on a DC hub, at 4am
Then he found a server, with Unreal 2.
Now imagine the "dream" is 1 GB+ on his HD...
Imagine it runs slowly on his PC with a Radeon DDR
Imagine the dream would look like... that:

I want it! Seriously though is it the proper game? Because I was expecting it to be released in the summer and I would expect it npot to have the final version of the game yet.

I have heard it is the E3 alpha version (according to the Unreal2 forums if you even talk about this version of the game they will ban you forever!). Does this game require hardware T&L? If so that would make sense. I cannot get the damn thing to run on my computer. I get to the screen that you have posted, but no further. No error or anything, just nada.

Now, well my dudes had it work perfectly. Generally they didn't play long since they had to go out to breathe deep. You know when you see such photorealistic graphics, you generally have lot of heart attacks

i found some files called unreal2_e3a.zip on dc and they were about 570 mb. are they worth downloading, i just got 20 kb/s transfer speed with the users who had the files and i´m going home tomorrow to a 56kb connection?

Don'T waste your time d/l the U2 alpha. It's just a Techdemo and doesn't run for 99% of the ppl who d/l it. So far U2 looks nice but SoF 2 & Doom 3 aren't bad either. And theres still Halo which beats any current shooter :/

Don't do it! Especially on a 56k connection unless you are sure it will work...
