Scrolling Screen
Despite using the new patch my screen still scrolls so I can't see it. I understand that the problem is my monitor, but I should still be able to play it. How do I get the.ini file when I can't see the screen to go even into a quick game? I use XP by the way.
I am desperate to play the game. Please help............ |

Have you tried...
...running in Win98 compatability mode yet? Running the WinXP compatability wizard doesn't seem to do it right, you need to it manually. Right click over the Civ3 desktop icon and go to properties and then go to the compatability tab.

Surely with updated drivers and the patch I shouldn't need to run in Win98 compatibility

You're thinking far too logically here...
You must not play many computer games if you haven't yet been broken of that.
Give it a try, just in case it works. It's what I have to do, even though I made sure all my drivers are current too. |
