Reinstall Not Working
My version of C3 got corrupted and didn't quite work right. So I go to reinstall it to fix to get a clean sheet. However, when I try, it asks if I want to delete everything. I say yes, assuming that you need to delete everything and then reinstall it. However, the reinstall program installs JUST the c3.exe in the C:\Windows directory. I try to uninstall it, and the same thing happens. If I put the CD in, it recognizes the game as installed. I cannot get the CD to recognize that it is not installed right and I want to reinstall it.
I've had this problem once before when I was switching Windows versions, and I thought it was a issue where I just needed to wipe the drive clean and start over with the new Windows. That worked, but I don't want to wipe the drive again just to play the game. Anyone else have this problem? |
