Civ4 Easter Eggs
Inspired by the emergance many civ3 easter eggs I have been wondering...
What easter eggs do you think will be in civ4? We already know about elvis but my bet is also on Giant Death Robots.

what about radioactive monkeys? Oh, and there surely will be many 'city' jokes (Neo Tokyo, Not Constantinople/Not Istanbul, Thunderfall, etc.)

I heard of a easter egg:
If you uninstall civ 4, scratch the disc, and try to reinstall it you will get this glitch. It causes all the civ 3 easter eggs to appear when you are forced to return to playing civ 3. |

Well considering that Take 2 is the publisher one could imagine what easter eggs might be hidden away in the programming. Maybe if you name a city San Andreas you'll get a special pop up.
To be honest though I'd like to see the Emma Peel spy unit come back. |

Somehow trigger a near endgame economic advance called "WAL-MART" that reduces the middleclass income, lowers the number of wealth holding individuals but makes you super rich by the time a winner is declared.

I wonder if they are going to include Hunt Valley as an American City again, like they did in Civ III.
On a somewhat related note, I remember when Civ 3 came out, I was working at EB. One of my coworkers was looking through the strategy guide and noticed that all of the cities in the screen shots were areas around the Baltimore area. Dundalk, Towson, Perry Hall, Essex, etc. The store I worked at was in White Marsh, right next to Perry Hall. It was kind of funny seeing that, and we realized that the writer of the guide had to be from the area. Of course, it didn't occur to me, and I never bothered to look it up at the time (or else I surely would have sent in a resume), that Firaxis was located in Hunt Valley. |
