laptop sound question
I've got an old IBM thinkpad (233 mhz) that is running WIN 98. The sound works great for programs that run in windows, but when I try to run old DOS games the sound is very very quiet (almost inaudable). Anyone have any ideas about this problem?

This is probably because the dos games that you use do not utilise your outside speakers but rather the onboard ones. Try completely turning off the sound and see if they are still present. If so you need to turn up the volume on the onboard speakers but that I do not know how to do
