Civ4 Release & Forum Anniversary Party

The big special day has finally arrived!!! It happens only once every 5 or 6 years, and is definitely a day worth celebrating! Release of Civilization IV is not the only event for the day also -- today is also our forum's 5 year anniversary! It's a very wonderful co-incidence.

To celebrate both events, we invite you to join our Civ4 Release & Forum Anniversary Party starting today at 6 PM ET (10 PM GMT) in our IRC Chat Room.

The IRC Chat Room can be accessed using the Java chat interface, or you can use an IRC client, such as mIRC, to view it. The IRC server is at irc.irc-chat.net and the channel is #civfanatics.

I went into a game store yesterday (the franchise will remain nameless) and I told the guy behind the counter that today would be the big day. He looked at me strange and asked why? I said the most anticipated game of the year. He was still confused. I said Civ 4. He replied, "Oh yeah, should be good." I said, "Your head will look good on the end of a pole" and promptly set the bloody warning in the window of the shop. What a waste of human flesh!
