So, I've adobted a state religion and spread it...
It gives some money, it gives some happyness.
I've spread my religion to all my cities and some of the bordering ones. I've built a temple belonging to it in every city. Is there any way i can make it stronger in the cities i've allready spread it to ? Missonaries seems to only work for the "initial" seed. And by the way ? Do I want it to become stronger ? Do i gain more money or more happyness by it ? Well, I have a nice little country otherwise, and haven't been in a war yet ! Any help would be appriciated, going back to rule my Roman civilization

I don't know how to answer your question... I dont know how to figure out how much of a city is what... but let me tell you this, when you spread a religion you founded, its cool that you get a line of sight around that city... In my huge world map, I have little visibility pockets everywhere and It can be useful to plan future invasions if I wanted to.
But damn... i'm trying SO hard to get my rival religious civilizations to change their civic to something OTHER than theocracy, so I can spread my religion even more. The spreading of religion can be cutthroat. |

If you spread your religion to other civilizations you get money as well. And watch out for them holy wars. They can be interesting.

If I understand your question correctly, there is no way of making a religion in your city any stronger. It's like saying you believe in christianity, and because a church is built, you believe in christianity even more.
Building religious buildings in the cities helps with the happiness, and the happiness increases on what buildings you have. You only gain money from cities that share your religion. So, in order to get more money, you need more cities in your faith. ![]() I hope this helps |

After building temples in the cities, you can also build monistaries, which increase science until scientific method, and allow you to build missionaries under any civic, and you can also build that religions acadamy which increases happiness, culture, and gold. You can be learning new tech every four or fives turns, with 8 cities, and a science slider at 70%
