What is the vital hardware? Help!
Everytime I play the large map such as 180*180, I suffer a long period of waiting between turns. I know it's calculating.
I admit my PC is obsolete. I got Pentium4 1.6G(Hz), 256M SDRAM. Now I wanna do some update. Then which is more important for playing Civ3, the CPU or the memory? Should I buy a new CPU first or the other one? |

Hi oppressor.
Your computer specs are pretty much the same as mine (I just have 1.8 GHz instead). I assume it will be the RAM that's most important - the more you have, the more it will speed up the game. 1 GB would do nicely, and it's not that expensive from a place like newegg.com . Good luck. |
