Let me start by saying if you combined Civ III and IV you'd have a hell of a game. Overall after a few days of heavy playing here's what I've noticed.
1. The civilopedia might as well have been left out. See other related thread. It is clearly the weakest part of the game.
2. Civ IV has ruined the advisor interfaces. Not only is the information weak, but the useability is questionable and the presentation is downright pathetic.
3. What is the deal with units? I've read the entire PDF manual and most of the civilopedia and have yet to find out if units can be upgraded!
On a good note, the mouse over feature is awesome.
