![]() You will probably get better tech support in the Civ4 - Mac Subforum - there are more chances that Mac players actually see your problem

I've found the problem. Civ 4 for Mac is a case insensitive game (basically it doesn't care whether the file name is a or A. to it, it's all the same). I had installed the Unix file system which is a case sensitive file system. The python of the game was trying to ask for the file ALopen.py (exact way it is on the file system) but the call was asking for it as alopen.py. Since the file system sees a difference between upper and lower case it was throwing back a file not found error. I've reinstalled OS X with the case insensitive Mac OS file system and have no problems anymore
