Internet Explorer History & My Computer Folder

Does anyone have any insight on how to prevent the 'My Computer' folder and its contents from being displayed in the History Items? (Internet Explorer > History)

I know I can simply right click on it and delete it, or
I can erase All history, I don't want to erase all, I just want to prevent 'my computer' contents from showing up.

I can also use window washers, but this again deletes all.

Nothing in the registry points me to my computer history contents either.

I think it may have something to do with the index.dat file, not sure

I googled this topic for few hours, nothing relevant showed up.

I'm using WinXP with Service pack 2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

switch to mozilla. IE is the 2nd worst thing for your computer.
