Still no video, post-patch.
I've had a problem involving the complete lack of video in this game, apart from the cursor. Take-Two's support told me via email to close all running applications, reboot, and then restart the game, which did nothing productive at all. The patch changed nothing, but now the sound skips in the beginning which was a delightful surprise.
My graphics card is an ATI Radeon 9200 128Mb, which is not the latest or best but I've had no problems with any other application and am reluctant to spend money on a new card which might not let me play the game anyway. Don't suppose anyone has any ideas about this? I'll email tech support back, but I wouldn't expect a response for a couple of weeks. |
