Eras and game end date.

Has anyone figured out how to add Eras or change the game end date yet?

I would also like to change the requirement for cultural vicotory if the first two are possible ( would be no fun to be able to play till the year 4000 if you couldnt get past 2500 or so without someone winning )

Those are such incredibly basic parameters why the hell arnt they in the editor??? why give us an editor at all if it is so crippled?

I would love a future era but as it is I would have to dump Ancient...



Edit: I just got the hacked editor. It has an add button on the Era screen.
does it work?
(assuming i do stuff like have a Future .pcx files and tag some Modern age techs as required for era advance, and make some more techs. (anything else?))

ok been playing around with a Future Era. think I just found my first big problem:
the city PCX files have no room for a future cityset. I have this nasty suspision that the game would go nuts if i tried to make the image bigger to make room.

I posted a saved game editor on Apolyton that lets you change the forced retirement year. Give it a try.
