Just to give you guys a heads up. I work evenings from about 1600-0200 and I have Sun, Mon, and Tues off. I am also in PST zone. I don't wanna mess up you guys schedule so if this doesn't work I would understand but it was a fun game last night. Lots of scheming going on. Furious pull yourself together for the sake of your citizens and declare a cease fire....lol

Hmm...waiting until Sunday night to play the next turn is a long wait. Although I'd like FPD to continue with us, I'd prefer that we not wait until Sunday night for the next session. Just call in sick Thursday, FPD.

I executed any slaves that weren't 100% on board in this endeavor.

I think civ_boy has a day-job so mornings are probably out of the question. Is this right civ_boy?

I'm leaning towards waiting till Sunday. It took a lot of effort to explain the British philosophy to FPD, I don't want to go through that all over again.

Vind and civ_boy - I encourage you to organize another different game to fill your time until then. But count me out - the early hours are killing me.

I will be out of town and will not be able to play next Tuesday - Thursday, 1/24 to 1/26. I may be able to play late next Friday night after I fly back in from Washington.

I don't really care when it goes on, Thursday as normal, or Sunday. It's so strange to play in a game against a guy who doesn't want to win that I could care less when we continue. I won't have this happen in any other game I play I will tell ya that. Since this is a close, good, game, I kinda want to see it out. I am behind but maybe I can come back. VIN might take out the 2 AI's and explode as well. Ya never know. It is not over, except for someone.

yes weekday mornings are out, but maybe a few hours this Saturday am is fine. So maybe a Saturday am session and a Sunday pm session and a Monday pm session? I am just trying to suggest, you guys decide.

i will check this thread again tomorrow.

PS are there rules against quiting in MP? Like FPD said, you can always win. Maybe we kill each other off etc. Ya never know. Take 20 turns of peace, rebuild, grow, get some tech and see where you are...sigh. i don't mind being at WAR with someone, but when they have no long term plan it's stupid. It's not CIV anymore, it's something worse. If it continues, I might give it up for a sub. We'll see what sessions we get.

I am good to play on Sunday. I agree that maybe we should all start out the next session with peace. Everybody calls a cease fire and pull all their troops back behind the DMZ. Spend some turns building, growing and politically plotting. I would like to do some tech trading but only during peace time

I'm starting out a similar game but the schedule caters to Europeans mostly. Take a look and think if it works for you.

Okay then, officially, we're playing Sunday night at the regular hours.

Too soon for it now, but when there's a clear winner that everyone can agree on, we'll stop the game. We shouldn't drag it just for the sake of it.

Come to think of it, civ_boy is away Tuesday to Thursday and FPD is away Friday and Saturday. So I hope we can wrap it up before Tuesday.

My game is entirely rational but none of you seemed to get it ( more likely, you don't want to admit you got it). I need to maintain a certain reputation, that I hope will be common knowledge in future games.

Go to war with me, and you'll lose more than you'll gain. Simple as that.

Hence the pillaging of my own towns. Hence the 0 research.

It's just part of the game!

I will also say I can play Friday night if you guys can. I land from DC at about 7pm at OHare, so no problem, even if delayed, to be on by 10 local for me.

So that will be a Sunday, Monday, Friday sequence.
