My tale of greater domination
SO it was just another basic day, everything just as generic as the next. I sat down to play a new game. A customized and epic game.
Decided I was going to be the americans guided under washington. The challenge level was emporer. Huge map, continents, temperate climate. I started off with great lands, right on the south coast of the continent, plenty of plush grasslands, hills and lots of resources. Settled my first city, washington, and began construction on the barracks, had my warriors go out and find easter eggs. And big golden easter eggs are what I found, consisting of 3 workers, 1 spearman, 2 warriors, over 300 gold and another settler was what I found inthe span of 17 turns. It was nothing short of poetic. I made my second city, passora, a few tiles up from the capitol. And then was ready to spanw another settler and made boston. BEfore I knew it, my science was cranking through techs, my workers doing every which thing, and I had just about everything I needed to my name. Coal, copper, iron, cow, ivory, pigs, corn, horses, dies, and gems. My cities became the foundings of five religions, the incas were to the immediate east of me. I soon defeated them after my holy city became holy for the third time and had my spearman and chariots rush the incas, and soon enough cuzco was the only city not annihilated yet seized. My new city and expanded cultural influence which was just mind numbingly impressive upon the map. WHen the romans came to meet me, their phalanx flipped to my command immediately after the diplomacy window was closed and I denied open borders. Right now it's in the middleages, and i've got 5 cities all built up and every civ wanting to be my ally, with my huge armies massing their borders, catherine, is on my door step except godi is to the near southwest and he is not open or attractive like catherin with her little teases and all that. So when I get back to the game I think it's south for the fire works of war. Oh by the way, the map is just stunning with the way it all fell together. Great cities all built up, great merchants and I don't evean have currency yet, saves for th e collosus and oracle(I'm the only civ with wonders.)I'm really loving this game right now. ![]() ANd I have yet to beat the game on emporer.
