Hello. im new here, so if ne1 has some advice that will make my experience here more helpful, please give it, so that i can take it. Neways, two of my buddies have is game on PC and man is it addicting. Im hoping also to get it on the Playstation system. is there ne1 who owns the PS game, and if so, is to good, because i know that strategy games are much better on PC then PS. neways, thank you for your time.

I've never played the PS version but I heard it's not that great. Since you appearantally (ouch....that's bad spelling) have a PC and an internet connection, you should try and get the gold edition for the PC. This will allow you to play multiplayer too!

As for advice.......stop typing ne1 for anyone. It's really annoying and it's only 3 more letters!

Don't bother with Civilization 2 for PSX. It a little more cumbersome to use since you don't have keyboard shortcuts. But most of all, if you have PSX civ you can't compete in all the little contests (like Game of the Month, who can get the highest score...) that we have here. Also, you won't be able to upgrade to the latest patches and fixes.

Of course not!
I meant I'm new starter in this forum. In fact I didn't have internet connection, until now. But I've played all Sid Meiers games for years (Pirates, Master of Orion,etc.) and although I'm not a Jedi master in Civ 1 and 2, I can stand a match against... beginners (at least I think so)
But you see, it doesn't hurt much going back (sometimes...) to the original hit. Sometimes I said.

The War Academy is the single most useful guide to civ2. It describes vaious aspects of the game in detail (especially things that are very important to know, but actually no-one knew), so that you can become the best of the best at CIV!
Go to the bottom of this page, click main site, locate the main menu on the left, locate header civilization 2, click WAR ACADEMY. Geez, how hard to find can it be?
