Problems editing game, help!
when I edit my civmod.bic file, nothign fancy, just add a few new units and change some governments, thats all, when I load up the gmae and try to load that bic file it said that Version 3.0 is not compatible anymore, I am not sure what this is, I never had any problems before with my old civ version, the 1.16f. But with 1.17f this **** happens, has anyone encountered this?

You've got the wrong editor. The patch was originally posted with an incorrect version of the editor. It's actually a later version that the one that was supposed to be released so .bic files modified with it are verbotten to the current game and what should be the current editor. Download the current editor off of the civfanatics dowload page or at civ3.com.
