swap or not: some advice please

right, just a quick one. i have a sony vaio laptop (pcg-k215s). pentium 4 2.8ghz, 512mb ram,ATI 9200 graphics card which is 64mb. and my hard drive is 60gig. another factor is that it has a wide screen which is vry good quality and does 1200 by 800 resolution. it is i think a tft screen. however because of the graphics card (which cannot be upgraded) i cannot run most modern games (read: oblivion) my friend has a laptop which has 40gig hard drive 512mb ram and a 128mb graphics card (which plays oblivion etc) but his battery is broken(might be able to fix) so it can only be used plugged in. this is not much of a problem for me as i dont usually use mine on batterys. so i am asking for advice on wether we should swap laptops or not. ok sorry that wnt on a bit longer than ithought. thanks for any feedback.

If both of you feel you're getting the better deal with the swap, I'd say go for it. If you're gonna be happier with his machine, and he's gonna be happier with yours, it's a win-win, right?

Since he's a friend, why don't you do a test swap for a week or so and see how it works out?

Just don't blame me if it doesn't work out.
