Refugee Amendment Vote

In lieu of ybbor's absence and the fact that I have virtually caused all this

We have to vote on adding the bolded line to the ruleset ... go here for links

Change Rules from
Quote:
0.3.1 - Membership retention after Defeat

Description: Members of teams that were defeated in the current game are allowed to join the team that conquered them, if the team will have them. They may also join neighboring teams that they had contact with at the time of their defeat.

Description: Upon defeat, members of the defeated team lose access to their native forum. They are allowed to join the team that conquered them, if the team will have them. They may also join neighboring teams that they had contact with at the time of their defeat.
My thoughts were to easily prevent refugees from accessing their original and now RIP team's forum until the game is over and all is made public.

Note - vote closes in 3 days

I don't see any reason why they should.

I dont' really see the point of blocking their access to their native forum. I can see giving them a choice: give up access to the native if you join a new team, but I don't see a reason to prohibit those who don't want to join a new team from seeing their native forum.

I would have preferred to see an Amendment that removes the 'no spoiler' clause, as it's unrealistic.
