New guy needs help!

Am new user of Civ 3. I can't find Foreign ministry icon to establish embassies. Where the hecki is it? or how do you get embassies established..

second is their some glitch with getting military institution established. I got all the requirements but no military academy. comes up to build?

Any help would be appreciated.

Inorder to establish embassies, you have to click on the little star icon next to your capital city. Then you get a dialog box asking you to who you want to establish an embassy.

Thank you. Why didn't they just say that in the instructions.
Any thought as to why I'm not able to get a millitary academny up. I have all the requiirements but can't get the program
to allow me to build an academy.

Press CTRL-E to establish embassies.

Press SHIFT-E or left click on your capital city and select "conduct espionage" from the menu to perform espionage. On the unit box at the bottom right hand corner of screen there are a set of letters on the right hand side press E for espionage(you can figure out the others).

To build the acadamy you must FIRST have had a LEADER. The only way to get a leader is to have an elite unit win and its only a CHANCE of becoming a leader then.
