1.61 patch won't install - Help !!!!!
Have a direct to drive (d2d) no cd version of the game..I cant patch it......I download the ptach but each time the installer wizzard tells me 'no version of civ 4 found on your computer'
is its somthing to do with it not reading the d2d exe file??? HELP please !!!! |

no dice
tried that already......does not work.......
I think I need a copy ofthe disk version civ 4 exe. I install it. then patch the game then repalce the CD version exe with the d2d one. just need to find a copy of that file! someone who is willing to MSN me a copy of thier exe file. |

johhny moderators being a pain
Johnny- the moderators must have deleted the message to you.
they shut down my solution thred saying it involved piracy of the game..it doesn't its rubbish they did not even read it thouroughly .................. Email me screwtape@tesco.net Moderator Action: As I wrote in other thread, you would need to contact D2D support about the patch problem. They should help you if they still want your business. http://www.direct2drive.com/ Using the CD version of the exe is unlikely to allow you to use the regular retail v1.61 patch. Thread closed.
