Civ4 Warlords Review on Amped IGO: 8.8/10

A new Civ4 Warlords review is up over at Amped IGO. They rated the expanion 8.8 out of 10 and said it "offers many new updates to an already fantastic lineup", even though the game remains inaccessible to casual gamers due to its incredible depth. Here is the verdict:

Technically speaking this game still looks and sounds relatively dull. It doesn’t have a sweeping epic score or flashy visual appeal. It is what it is: a top-heavy strategy game that appeals only to fans of the style. Civilization IV: Warlords is a great addition to an already phenomenal computer game. It makes one of the most addictive games on the market that much more engaging. If you’re a fan of strategy games or Civilization games and want to give a new one a try, you can’t go wrong with Warlords as it enhances one of last year’s best titles.
