cd problem Warlords
Hi,
I have now bought 2 copies of Warlords and none of the cd's are recognized in my cd drive (and it works and is clean). I also have Civ4 vanilla and Civcity and they both work perfectly. Any suggestions or similar exp. Thanks.

Try the CD in a different computer.
Make sure you've not bought a DVD without having a DVD drive. |

Civ 4 is DVD-ROM. Warlords is CD-ROM.

Hello!
I might have had the same problem. I could install WL fine, but when I tried to launch it it didn't recognize the CD. I saw somewhere that it could be some copy protection issue, and when I tried it in my older DVD-burner it started. The non-functional drive was a NEC ND-3550A, and it worked in a ND-3540A. Hope it helps you! A |

cd problem Warlords
Hi,
Problem should be solved as I found out together with IBM that I have a laserbeam error that me unable to read CD-ROM's. DVD is ok as it is two separate laserbeams that read each type. Thanks for your suggestions.
