I want to play CIV3 but I have Windows NT!
I know that Civ3 officially does not support Windows NT. But some say it works. Does anybody have experiences? Somebody else asked this question a few months ago, but there was no reply

I have been trying to run it on W2k professional, (which is based on NT)but keep getting random errors generated by Civ3....the system doesn't crash, just shuts down Civ3. Could be related to the fact the drive is formated with NTFS.
This has only happened since V1.17f came out...could be patch related. Hate to think I have to set up dual boot just so I can play Civ3 with the latest patch, but when you just spent 2 hours capturing half a continent after an invasion planned for centuries, and the game crashes, and all you have is the autosave from the previous turn.... Oh, well..... |
