Upcoming Versions

Hi!

I just wanted to let you all know that I'm sorry that we're not producing new versions like we used to. This is because many of us are very busy at the moment for one reason or another (me included). Laurino is currently working on a new version, which will be a complete graphical overhaul of the MOD.

Hey, you are doing free work for us! No reason to be sorry. We really appreciate your putting work in when you get a chance. In the meantime, we'll try to keep the forums going...

Yeah! You have already done a marvelous job. We know what you are capable of, and are looking forward to new versions in the future.

Well first of all I reskinned ALL TAM units, to make sure that none of them was exactly the same as Vanilla... Of course some of them, like the workers, simply have slight clothing changes, but enough to make them have a TAM feel... All Icons/Buttons have or will be replaced by TAM ones, even in the Worldbuilder. Menus are all being redone, as are all borders and sliders, etc. I'm not planning on messing too much with the layout, but I will need to make slight adjustment. I also have made a couple of 3d scenes with TAM units, wich will be used in different parts of the loading. I plan to have the HUDs related to the "to-be-implemented" cultural groups, and also to the era the players is in... So basically, EVERY graphics that can be modified will be. Not all of the mentionned above will be in 1.97 of course, but the new units will for sure.

Playing TAM 1.96, I've noticed tin and silver sharing the same resource icon

I would like to volunteer to help convert TAM to Warlords. I might be too busy later on to help, so I'll post if I am unable to find time. The faster TAM is converted, the better.

@ Woodelf:
Of course it's ambitious! I'm always full of ambitions

@Drtad:

I PMed you.

I already have many new units (Warlords only) so it would be real nice to have TAM for Warlords.

Thanks Laurino, I responded to your PM. I'll start on the conversion right when you release the new version on a couple of days.
