Request for C4W Multiplayer
I've done some forum searching and haven't found this discussed before...
But, in MP one of the dilemmas is "double moving", where someone consciously waits to go last, does so, and then immediately takes their next turn. So, the double-mover attacks me and before I can log in and use my promotions, move units, etc... does another attack/move. Now, I don't see a perfect solution, but I have a request that I'm hoping someone can either mod or indicate how/where in the code you can fix this. 2 requests: 1. Promotions: What to call this.... Auto-promotions. So, in round A you earn a promotion. In Vanilla C4W, you make the promotion and get the health boost in Round B, when you, the player logs in and does this. What would be better for MP play is if in Round A, when you earn the promotion, you can select it. The promotion then takes affect on the start of Round B, when the round rolls over. Thus, I'll at least get my promotions/health before you double-move me. 2. Movement: Would like the pre-selected auto moves to execute when the round starts, rather than when the player logs in. You could keep current exceptions, for instance if the enemy moves into your path, then the auto move is cancelled. Both of these would help mitigate the double-move problems. Thoughts?
