Star Wars Combine free online RPG

Hi all,

There was another thread on this topic but I can't seem to find it now. Anyway I was just wondering if our resident CFC combine players are still playing this game.

I've gone freelance and have started a small transport business. Very soon I plan on setting up a twice weekly shuttle service from Corsuscant to Corellia. Looking for customers now. If you have any questions DM/PM me.

For those of you not familiar with this game, www.swcombine.com , is a free online RPG set in the Star Wars universe. It's a game that is still a work in progress, i.e. many features haven't been implemented yet such as combat, but it is still playable. There are lots of opportunities for your character to make money, explore the galaxy, and more. Check it out if you're into anything Star Warsie.

Ya I still am alive and well in the combine.

I left as leader of Falleen Resource Contracts after we finished the finest tax planet in the galaxy,Ord Mantell, located in Bright Jewel of Duf sector, bout 3 months ago.

First run brought in 632 million..so much Veynom changed the rules so after that it made about 275 million each month with only a slight population dip which it recovers from quickly.

However, all that cash lead to big changes in the FF.Gone were the days of the informal family faction and in were the days of "We wanna be like Hapes" and it became all rigid and so forth.

It became too much like work, and oddly with the new riches,my renumeration went down 3 straight months.Leading a mining cmg that supplies a building monster like FF can be very time consuming,so,with hefty bonus from Ord Mantell in hand, I left to build my own riches.

I'll be at my 1 year anniversary soon(NOV 30) and I currently have a good number of facilities generating 2.5 mil per month income. My "fleet" consists of 17.5 ships highlighted by a Bayonet class light cruiser and a Bulk Freighter(the .5 is another Bulk Freighter under production,,ETA 190 days

Wow that is impressive!

Man, I only have 450k in the bank. I own 2 Personal residences, 1 skyscraper 60 flats, 1 ship, 1 vehicle, and 1 NPC. I'm totally a small fry trying to work his way up.

Sounds to me like the real money is in owning a city or a planet? Any tips you can share with me? My 3 facilities generate about 11k a month.

I've started a freelance transport service but so far I've only had two customers.

Btw do you have any freighters or hangers I could buy? I'm looking into getting a YT-1210 which I almost have enough CP's for and I'll need a hanger to help generate more income for me as well as a place to house my ships. That is when I get some more!

Ah so the real money is in real estate! Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a try. I've been concentrating on getting ships and expanding my transport service.

Well if you have any taverns or offices for sale let me know. In the meantime if you have need of shuttle service or transporting of materials/ships let me know.

I only charge 1500 credits per person, cargo load, or ship to go from sector to sector.

I charge 1000 credits for within sector travel and 500 credits for within system travel.

My rates are the best around!

Oh yes I do. I have a small transport company that is totally freelance. No questions are ever asked of our customers and we cater to everyone. Currently my staff is all invovled in a medium sized job in the Outer Rim F-4 sector but I'm hoping to have a pilot available for other work by the end of next week. Let me know if you could use my help. I guess you could just post here or PM me here, and then I'll give you my public handle viewable to all in the Combine.

Great,

I'll DM you later this evening. I will have a pilot who will be flying from the Outer Rim F4 to Jospro but just a reminder he won't be able to leave the Outer Rim until end of next week. We'll talk more in game.

My handle is Sheng-ji Yang.
