Need help choosing a video card...

Hello all,
I have Civ 4 but I cant play it because I have integrated video. But I do have a PCI Express slot. I was wondering how well a Geforce 7600 GS would work for this game? Would this card work well with Galiactic Civilizations II as well, or Age of Empires 3? Or should I go even higher and buy a Geforece 7600 GT? I am not a hardcore gamer...I like strategy games though like this one. Also I'd like to keep it below 100$. I really don't know anything about video cards so thanks in advance.

Either of those cards will handle Civ4 without any problem. PCI-e is a fairly new interface and the older cards will be gradually phased out for AGP/PCI. As long as your drivers are all up to date I doubt you will have any problem with any game as far as the graphics/video go.

Thanks Guys

Thanks for the help. I bought it at buy.com for 50$, damn good deal, and I'm on a budget. Also I will try to overclock it, get some extra mhz out of it

I doubt it would need OC'ing, it could possibly cause problems. Just make sure you have enough power and a good cooling system if you're intent on OC. Happy civving!
