Better Performance in Scenerios
The performance on my g5 has been terrible even though i have a x800 video card. It's slow and choppy pretty much from the beginning. And playing past the middle ages is hopeless.
I finally tried out a scenerio (actually all of them) today and found the performance (scrolling, animations and leader heads) to be a huge improvement over the regular game. Does anyone have any idea why this would be? I was thinking it might be due to the fact that most, if not all of the scenerios are on flat maps, instead of the ones that round out as you zoom out. I also noticed the terrain is different between scenerios... maybe thats it? Has anyone else noticed this on PowerPc G5's? |

The more I mess around with most of these scenerios, I'm starting to realize it probably has to do with the fact that the maps are covered in water. I'm used to playing low sea level continents. Oh well
