For Love of the Game

I can't begin to tell you how many hours I wasted and how close I have come to ultimate victory. Hordes of Armies at my disposal, Cities of splendor and grandeur envied by all, and a fortune of gold to do with as I pleased. Yet in the end I was always to be denied. Who was this powerful foe, one who would bring me to me demise every time?.......... The DAMN programmers that didn’t see the multitude of bugs this game had before being released! Alright maybe not the programmers fault, then who? The marketing people? Sid Meier’s himself? Actually it doesn’t matter what his name is! He should take this game, turn it up side ways and stick it up his (or her) candy ass!

I am a 100% Civilization fan, I have put my suggestions here in these forums, have waited patiently for the patches to address the many bugs the game has had, but honestly I have now had enough. I just tried to log on to my saved game, nope it won’t happen… yet another game lost! Hours spent playing and I am denied again… yes I know I sound like I have no life, but that’s why we go to the movies right? We buy games, go on vacations, enroll in martial arts, do marathons… whatever it doesnt matter what you do!!! we all seek things that give us joy, challenge us… there is however no joy left in me to play this game anymore, there is no sense of challenge, fore I am not the programmer nor do I have to ability to address the many problems this game has been plagued with from the beginning… there is only the knowledge that I am no longer a Civ fan… ironically I just wrote a bunch of constructive recommended for the game, right before I realized I had been bugged again!

People at Infogrames can do some damage control though, just please refund my money, and maybe I will consider buying it again sometime in the distant future…

I dont mean any disrespect to any of you still playing, or to you Thunderfall for I am sure you if anyone has put more into this Civilization then the rest...
