detecting Unknown videocard

I got an old PC a P3433 which Iam currently "bashing" it together as a first pc for my young nephew to play with.

Anyway I only managed to scronged up 128Meg of ram for the machine so I had to install win98 (given the memory and proccessong power)

Now Iam wondering how to "detect" the video card. Win auto detect hasnt picked it up and I cant see any indicators on the card itself.
is there anyway of finding out the make of the card?

Only thing comes to mind is put it into a winxp machine and use Xp to detect it.
Though not sure about voltage compatibilty of the card. It looks like AGP1 card not sure if it will work in agp2
(hmmm MBs should be backwards compatible)

EDIT: Also need MB drivers as well it seems for onboard sound.
have checked he bios information but nothing there it seems

thanks in advance.

My video card info is displayed when my PC first starts. After that I can find it by looking in to System Information under System Tools or by opening up the Device Manager in the Control Panel. Once you know which card it is finding it's specs shouldn't be too hard on the net.

I believe that most AGP cards themselves are backwards compatible. An 8x card will work in a 4x slot as the slots are physically the same. There are a few cards that have different voltages and this is what you have to watch for.
